Cutouts

Cutouts are required once a honeybee swarm has moved into its final location/home. Prior to human interference the best suitable home for a honeybee was a hollowed-out tree. Though there still are many trees for the bees to choose from, a majority of them have been replaced with buildings and structures and the bees don’t know the difference. If you indeed have honeybees living in your structure it is best to cut them out fully and professionally. In some cases, people opt to exterminate using toxic gases and poisons. This will only mitigate your problem for a short period. While you will probably kill the honeybees, you will also leave behind the comb, honey and bee larvae to attract other pests, as well as future honeybees. It’s best to get a professional to safely and humanely rehome your bees to a productive location.
